Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a fine national park, and there's a forest here called James L Goodwin State Forest. The high level of rain makes Pine Acres Lake a relatively wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. But wait, there's more to do close to Pine Acres Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Narragansett Trail. This lake is

| | so wonderful. If you need a location to stay The Inn at Woodstock Hill is a great choice, and from Pine Acres Lake you get a wonderful sight of Bear Hill. There are some fine whitewater spots on Natchaug River, and let's not forget Fuller Brook which is a stream that you may run into during your stay. Swamps can be such exciting places, pop by Cedar Swamp since you're here at Pine Acres Lake, and there's whitewater on Quinebaug River for all you adrenaline junkies. | |

Lakes are good; Kimball Pond is a lake that's near Pine Acres Lake, and unsurprisingly, everyone loves Mansfield Hollow State Park. If you came for an overnight stay Nickerson Park Camp Grounds is a great location to camp, and
glorious water scenery is available at Pine Acres Lake Dam close to Pine Acres Lake. This place, Pine Acres Lake, it simply has so much outdoors exciting stuff. You're in all probability interested in lakes, Black Spruce Pond is one
of those close by; Highland Camp Ground is a magnificent campground nearby. Throughout the summer months at Pine Acres Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and the night is slightly chillier of course, regularly in the 50's.
High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Pine Acres Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Pine Acres Lake is a spot with many visitors from Willimantic, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Regent Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two.
