This lake is so wonderful. Pin Shop Pond is not far at all from New Haven-Milford, and the Naugatuck Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Woodbury; at Pin Shop Pond Dam in the neighborhood of Pin Shop Pond there are some out of the ordinary things to see.       Yeah, come here to Pin Shop Pond for a great time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bantam River, and a tremendous close by hotel is Courtyard Waterbury Downtown. Pin Shop Pond is a rather wet place ordinarily with a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls through June while February is generally the driest month. Throughout the summer at Pin Shop Pond highs are frequently in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime                  highs are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Pin Shop Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Farmington River - Collinsville offers some great whitewater; probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Echo Lake is just a very short distance away. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Pequabuck Golf Club of Bristol; if you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Waterbury is a splendid choice. Mount Fair is beautiful and can be seen from Pin Shop Pond; Mount Southington has fine slopes and a friendly staff. So many fun things to do here at Pin Shop Pond, too pleasant to be true. There's wonderful hiking along the Mattatuck Trail, and a tour to Black Rock State Park invigorates the spirit.
