There's so much to do here at Perry Pond that you need to camp here for a while, West Thompson Campground is a delightful site for that; Clear and Branch has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The Inn at Woodstock Hill is a perfect place to get some rest; there's glorious hiking along the Walkabout Trail.       Perry Pond regularly gets much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. Knowlton Brook is next to Perry Pond and is always a delight to go to. Stocking Mill Dam has great water scenery and it's next to Perry Pond; Perry Pond is a nice lake nearby. At Perry Pond through                  the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Perry Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Harrisville Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites Dayville is a good location to spend a night or two. If you came to camp Indian Ranch Campground is a brilliant place to do that, and if you have time to spare, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth going to. Here at Perry Pond there are plenty of folks from Willimantic, and fine hiking is available along the Munyan Trail. Man, is there a load of entertaining things to do near Perry Pond.
