The high level of rainfall makes Pequot Swamp Pond a quite wet spot; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Cold Spring, and if you're here you can play some golf at Hillside Links Golf Course.       A lake nearby is Birch Millpond, and while you're here here do have a look at close by Chalker Beach. Any time is a fine time at Pequot Swamp Pond if you adore the outdoors. It's a fine idea to stop by Fishing Brook, it's in the neighborhood of Pequot Swamp Pond; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Old Saybrook. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Hammonasset River, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn Old Saybrook is a fine choice. Summertime                  brings highs in the 80's to Pequot Swamp Pond. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's.
