A fine spot for whitewater paddling near Pecks Pond is Norwalk River. This lake is so wonderful. East Aspetuck River is a brilliant whitewater spot close to Pecks Pond; Ridgefield CT Days Inn is a splendid site to get some rest. All through the long summer days highs here at Pecks Pond get into the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime       are in the 30's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Pecks Pond tend to be in the 10's. The amount of precipitation that falls at Pecks Pond is close to the national average; May is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. A lake close by is Factory Pond, and a fine spot like Putnam Memorial Park is too good to leave out. Be careful coming to Pecks Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. Why not camp at Kettletown                  State Park since you're here at Pecks Pond, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Bethel - Danbury is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Perrys Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and it's a perfect idea to stop by Branchville Brook. While you're here at Pecks Pond you will meet lots of people from nearby Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk, and Factory Pond Dam has pleasant water scenery. Thunder Ridge is a very popular ski area nearby, and Ridgefield Golf Course is a wonderful golf course close by.
