You can take a little tour to Peck Pond Dam while you're here at Peck Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Quinebaug River. Throughout the summertime months at Peck Pond highs are typically in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Peck Pond are in the 10's.       There are other places here than Peck Pond, for example Clarkville Pond, and hiking along the Munyan Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Peck Pond is close by; you must without doubt check out Hemlock Ledges while you're here. Peck Pond gets much water; most of the rain falls all through November while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is The Inn at Woodstock Hill, and                  why not a little side tour to Blackmore Brook. If you haven’t been to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Border Trail. Just can't get enough of Peck Pond. Peck Pond is a splendid location to visit for more than one day, Bowdish Lake Camping Area is a splendid location to camp nearby, and do take a hike on the Walkabout Trail. So much amusing stuff to do at Peck Pond, so little time. Stay the night at Buck Hill Family Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Clear and Branch offers some good whitewater. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct is a great choice.
