Peck Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. What would a location like Peck Pond be without out of the ordinary nearby highlights like Hemlock Ledges, and if time allows, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth checking out. The Inn at Woodstock Hill is a good spot to get some rest, needless to say you could also visit Bowdish Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. People from

with water paddling on Quinebaug River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Peck Pond has to offer, you can camp at Buck Hill Family Campground. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Looking
for something near Peck Pond? Quaddick Reservoir is nearby, and the Border Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Near Peck Pond you locate the Munyan Trail which is a good hiking trail, and glide down the rapids of Clear and Branch
in a kayak. All through the days of summer at Peck Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter
lows in the 10's overnight here at Peck Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Quaddick State Park when you're here at Peck Pond is a nice idea, and close by you'll discover a wooded vicinity called George Washington Memorial
State Forest. Peck Pond is a quite wet place mostly with a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. There is a nice hiking trail next to
Peck Pond called the Walkabout Trail, and Peck Pond is a great location to visit for more than one day, Bowdish Lake Camping Area is a great location to camp nearby.
