All the water falling down from the sky makes Peck Pond a wet location; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. If you're a golfer then a good close by course is Woodhaven Country Club, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Mount Southington. There's magnificent hiking along the       Regicides Trail; good skiing awaits you at Woodbury. This lake is so wonderful. Why not visit Lake Chamberlain Dam if you're here, and National Computer Camps is a fine local campground. You could also check out Lake Chamberlain while you're here at Peck Pond; it's close by; visiting West Rock Ridge State Park is a splendid thing to do. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Naugatuck is a nice choice, and the Quinnipiac Trail offers                  hiking at its best.
