Summer at Peck Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 30's while Peck Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. National Computer Camps is a fine local campground, and float down the rapids of Farmington River - Collinsville in a kayak. The Quinnipiac Trail offers hiking       at its best, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Conference Center. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Peck Pond to distinguish the water at Lake Chamberlain Dam, and there's good hiking along the Naugatuck Trail. Gentile's Camp Ground is a great campground nearby, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Lake Bethany. Comfort Inn Naugatuck is a pleasant site to get some rest, and Woodbury                  has nice slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. This is a brilliant region for folks who like lakes. Lake Chamberlain is a lake nearby, and West Rock Ridge State Park is a great site. Here at Peck Pond you'll perhaps meet some people from New Haven-Milford, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Peck Pond; Regicides Trail is a perfect local trail.
