Peck Pond gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls all through August; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Woodbury and strap some skis to your feet; an out of the ordinary thing to explore next to Peck Pond is Lake Chamberlain Dam. Through the days of summer at Peck Pond highs are generally in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are       frequently in the 30's while Peck Pond nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. And that's not all you can do here at Peck Pond. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Farmington River - Collinsville. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Conference Center, and the panorama of stunning Meeting House Hill is splendid. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close to Peck Pond has to offer. Comfort Inn Naugatuck                  is a pleasant place to get some rest; a brilliant place like West Rock Ridge State Park is too good to leave out. A lake nearby is Lake Bethany, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mount Southington. Have a great hiking adventure along the Naugatuck Trail, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by New Haven-Milford. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Peck Pond you can play some golf at Woodhaven Country Club, and why not camp at National Computer Camps if you're here at Peck Pond. On a magnificent day at Peck Pond you can take a hike along the Quinnipiac Trail; Lake Chamberlain is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.
