In Connecticut there are many beautiful lakes, Patterson Pond is one of them. The top of Besse Hill is easily observed from Patterson Pond; the skiing at Ski Sundown is wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mattatuck Trail, and you can spend the day on the beach at Litchfield Town Beach. For you golfers we recommend close by Fairview Farm Golf Course; this is a popular location for folks from Torrington. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy Brook River; getting to Lovers Lane Brook from Patterson Pond is easy. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn - Torrington is a good place to spend a night or two, and Mohawk Mountain is a wonderful local ski area.

in one place! Patterson Pond is so good! Crystal Lake Dam is a wonderful site close to Patterson Pond, and unsurprisingly, everyone loves John A. Minetto State Park. Tollgate Hill Inn is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and the Mattatuck
Trail offers hiking at its best.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Miscus Pond, and camping is available at Burr Pond State Park. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Bantam
River, and if you came for an overnight stay Macedonia Brook State Park is a splendid spot to camp.
All through the months of summer highs here at Patterson Pond reach the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Patterson Pond.
