A brilliant site to camp here at Parkins Ponds is Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds, and Parkins Ponds is in close proximity to Southford Falls State Park which is a gorgeous location. The vista of pretty Brushy Hill near Parkins Ponds is pleasant, and folks from Torrington love to come here. Parkins Ponds is a relatively wet place generally with a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls through August; February on the other hand is the driest. On a good day

Pomperaug Golf Club is a golf course in the vicinity of Parkins Ponds, and why not camp at Cozy Hills Campground if you're here at Parkins Ponds.
