Beaver Brook Pond Dam is worth a visit since you're here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Parker Pond; Narragansett Trail is a great local trail. Stay the night at Highland Camp Ground; Susquehanna Plains is a brilliant place. Parker Pond typically gets a great deal of rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is one of the destinations near Parker Pond that are good to go to, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Suites Norwich is a fine choice. you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Beaver Brook Pond, and get covered with water paddling on Natchaug River. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Parker Pond. This lake
is so wonderful. A wonderful sight of lovely Mullin Hill is available from Parker Pond, and at Parker Pond you always meet someone from Norwich-New London. Through the days of summer at Parker Pond temperatures are commonly in
the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; night lows through the wintertime for Parker Pond tend to be in the 10's.
