If you are in this part of Connecticut make sure to pay a visit to Parker Pond. Beaver Brook Pond Dam is scenic and it's in close proximity to Parker Pond; the vista of Mullin Hill is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Norwich; Parker Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Salt Rock Family Camping is a brilliant local campground. The high level of precipitation makes Parker Pond a reasonably wet place;

A pleasant tour to Susquehanna Plains is a delightful way to spend an afternoon, and if you come at the right time of year, Natchaug River offers some great whitewater. High temperatures at Parker Pond all through the warm days of summer are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. two; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Quinebaug River. While you're here at Parker Pond, you could also have a look at charming Indian Hollow Pond, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Norwich-New London here. Now, you may
assume that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Parker Pond. Mansfield Hollow State Park is a tremendous spot; do explore Beaver Brook Pond, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much
to do here at Parker Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Highland Camp Ground is a splendid place for that, and why not take a look at close by Ballymahack Brook since you're here at Parker Pond. Parker Pond is right by the
Narragansett Trail, and naturally, all our national parks are splendid locations to go to and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception.
