Why not stop by Paderewski Pond if you're passing through these parts. There's so much to do here at Paderewski Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Eagle Feather is a wonderful place for that, and nearby you come across the Tunxis Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. | | wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River. If you get bored of Paderewski Pond, you could also go to nearby Farmington Reservoir, and golf can be played at Hawk's Landing Country Club.
Through the summer at Paderewski Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows at Paderewski Pond during the winter commonly dip into the 10's. If | |

you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Paderewski Pond. A nice close by hotel is Fairfield Inn & Suites Plainville, and hey, Scott Swamp Brook is a wonderful local stream. This lake is so wonderful. Loon
Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Centennial Inn Suites is a wonderful location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not go to Plainville Reservoir Dam while you're here, and close by Cooks Gap is a
pleasant place to go. Going for a hike on the Mattabesset Trail is always a great adventure, and Paderewski Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Gentile's Camp Ground is a good local campground. On a fine day you can visit
Shade Swamp, a swamp next to Paderewski Pond; why not head up to Mount Southington and strap some skis to your feet.
Farmington River - Collinsville is a good whitewater spot close to Paderewski Pond; a tour here wouldn’t be complete
without a journey to close by Talcott Mountain State Park. This lake is so wonderful. People from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford love to come to Paderewski Pond. A day on the slopes of Powder Ridge is just what you need; at
Paderewski Pond you can catch a glimpse of Bradley Mountain.
Paderewski Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February.
