Any time is a splendid time at Oxoboxo Lake if you adore the outdoors. Pequot Ledge Campgrounds is a pleasant local campground; whitewater paddling is great on Natchaug River. Oxoboxo Lake gets a lot of water; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's pleasant hiking along the Narragansett Trail; here at Oxoboxo Lake you can distinguish       Chapel Hill. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 80's at Oxoboxo Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows at Oxoboxo Lake all through the winter generally sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Oak Dell Motel is a great site to get some rest; McAlpine Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at.
