The beauty of Oneco Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Sterling Park Campground is a splendid place to camp, and Oneco Pond Dam is a location that is next to Oneco Pond. During the warm months here at Oneco Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Oneco Pond

| | night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. A good location for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Oneco Pond is Clear and Branch. Go for a hike on the Narragansett Trail, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Plainfield, Ct is a good location to spend a night or two. lovely location. Oneco Pond frequently gets a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. You're perhaps hooked on
lakes, Carbuncle Pond is one of those nearby, and camping is available at River Bend Campground and Canoe Sales. If you need a place to stay Quality Inn Plainfield is a pleasant choice, and a golf course nearby is Foster Country Club.
This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Oneco Pond? Sterling Pond is nearby, and swing by Cedar Swamp Brook it's a nice site to stop at. What a place this is for outdoors people. There's great hiking along the
Walkabout Trail, and at Oneco Pond you can see Gibson Hill. Don't leave Oneco Pond without first going for a hike along the Border Trail, and a day on the slopes of Yawgoo Valley is just what you need. Life's too short to enjoy all
the amusing stuff near Oneco Pond. Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very wonderful location to go to near Oneco Pond; lots of people from Willimantic come here.
