A good location to camp here at Oneco Pond is River Bend Campground and Canoe Sales; get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear and Branch. If you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn Brooklyn is a great choice. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PLAINFIELD is a glorious site to spend a night or two; during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Willimantic for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Sterling

| | Park Campground, and while you're here you can play some golf at Foster Country Club. So much exciting stuff right next door to Oneco Pond, absolutely striking. Going for a hike on the Walkabout Trail is always a fine adventure; hey, Cedar Swamp Brook is a tremendous local stream. Why not check out Oneco Pond Dam while you're here; a tour to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Near Oneco | |

Pond you locate the Border Trail which is a great hiking trail, and a great sight of beautiful Gibson Hill is available. Do explore Carbuncle Pond close to Oneco Pond, it's a delightful lake; get drenched paddling on Quinebaug
River. Oneco Pond is a reasonably wet place frequently with much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. During the summer
months highs here at Oneco Pond reach the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Oneco Pond. You'll discover a gorgeous lake
called Sterling Pond near Oneco Pond, and of course, everybody loves Hopeville Pond State Park. Having a good time at Oneco Pond is trouble-free. Yawgoo Valley is a fine local ski area; the Narragansett Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by.
