Everybody close by loves skiing at Ski Sundown. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn and Suites/Wolcott is a nice choice; the Tunxis Trail is a good hiking trail close by. All the water falling down from the sky makes Old Marsh Pond a wet spot; of all the months in a year June is the one with       the most rain while February is usually the driest month. Farmington River - Collinsville is a brilliant whitewater spot close to Old Marsh Pond; Old Marsh Pond Dam is a spot that is near Old Marsh Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Old Marsh Pond has to offer, you can camp at Black Rock State Park; you'll locate a scenic lake called Bristol Reservoir Number 5. Any time is a good time at Old Marsh Pond if you                  like the outdoors. Old Marsh Pond is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Gentile's Camp Ground is a glorious site to camp nearby, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Mattatuck Trail. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Old Marsh Pond. There is a great hiking trail near Old Marsh Pond called the Mattatuck Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River - Riverton. At Old Marsh Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Old Marsh Pond. Chippen Hill is clearly visible from Old Marsh Pond; a round of golf at nearby Pequabuck Golf Club of Bristol is a great way to kill some time. Here at Old Marsh Pond there are plenty of people from New Haven-Milford, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not have a look at Bristol Reservoir Number 3. Gotta ski!
