Devils Hopyard State Park is a great spot. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Number Two Pond has to offer, you can camp at Devil's Hopyard State Park. All the water falling down from the sky makes Number Two Pond a wet location; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while July is usually the driest month. High temperatures at Number Two Pond through the warm months are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the

Executive Inn and Suites Old Saybrook is a nice location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a nice nearby course is Chanticlair Public Golf Course, and Number Two Pond is a place with many visitors
from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Roaring Brook River, and lakes are such serene spots, why not go to Babcock Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than
Number Two Pond, for example Number One Pond, and Babcock Pond Dam is wonderful. Why not take a look at a swamp like Babcock Swamp while you're here at Number Two Pond, and if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Old Saybrook is a delightful choice.

Odetah Campground
 | 16 miles away I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow.... |
