temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Norton Pond temperatures sink to the 10's. Go for a hike
on the Metacomet Trail, and in the neighborhood of Norton Pond you stumble on a golf course called Pistol Creek Golf Club. After a long day outdoors Best Western New England Inn & Suites is a great spot to spend a night or two, and
there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Roaring Brook River. There's whitewater on Farmington River - Collinsville for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and on a beautiful day you acquire a good vista of Lamentation Mountain
