Drift down the rapids of Roaring Brook River in a kayak, and the peak of Chalker Hill can be observed from North Westchester Pond. and Devils Hopyard State Park is a brilliant spot to visit on a delightful day. All through the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at North Westchester Pond. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. The cold days of

 | 16 miles away I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow.... |
