New Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Quaboag River right next door to New Pond; during your visit here you'll meet some people from Willimantic for sure. There are other places here than New Pond, for example Mathews Pond, and why not camp at Roaring Brook Campground since you're here at New Pond. High temperatures at New Pond during the months of summer are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer

| | temperatures fall down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at New Pond temperatures drop to the 10's. Lakes? Sure, Upper Pond is close at hand, and if you're here, you could check out Cedar Swamp Brook. New Pond is a quite wet place typically with a great deal of rain; May is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. You feel that's enough? | |

Just getting warmed up. If you need a location to stay Travelodge Sturbridge is a brilliant choice, and Natchaug River is a fine whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Mineral Springs Family Campground is a perfect
local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Willington; Hedgehog Hill can be seen from New Pond. Bigelow Hollow State Park is a great location, also New Pond Dam is worth a visit while you're here.
