This lake is so wonderful. Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve is a wonderful location to stretch your legs a bit, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Thunder Ridge. Paddling on Norwalk River is so much fun, and after a long day outdoors Stamford Plaza Hotel and CC is a pleasant spot to       spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year at New Canaan Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to New Canaan Reservoir. New Canaan Reservoir mostly gets a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is the month with the least                  moisture. A lake nearby is Lockwood Pond; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Mill River. This lake is so wonderful. Siscowit Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at; Roger Sherman Inn (Le) is a glorious location to get some rest. There's just no way someone can get bored here at New Canaan Reservoir. New Canaan Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain Workshop is a tremendous local campground; New Canaan Reservoir Dam is a picturesque location, unquestionably worth checking out.
