This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Residence Inn Hartford Avon is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and since you're here you should take a look at Zwick Point. Nepaug Dam is a location that is right next door to Nepaug Reservoir, and there's a       forest here called Nepaug State Forest. Rattlesnake Hill is uncomplicated to spot from Nepaug Reservoir, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Farmington River - Collinsville. The high level of rainfall makes Nepaug Reservoir a reasonably wet site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. There are brilliant sites to discover along the Mattatuck Trail. This lake is so wonderful.                  Everybody nearby loves skiing at Ski Sundown; Simsbury Farms Golf Course is a delightful golf course nearby. For the duration of the summer highs here at Nepaug Reservoir get into the 70's, and the night is fairly colder of course, regularly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Nepaug Reservoir night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Yeah, come here to Nepaug Reservoir for a wonderful time. Going for a hike on the Tunxis Trail is always a fine adventure; there's some flowing water close by, Cherry Brook is a stream you can go to while you're here. So many entertaining things to do here at Nepaug Reservoir, too good to be true. Nearby lakes? Sure, Nepaug Reservoir is near Nepaug Reservoir; there are some great whitewater spots on Farmington River - Riverton. Why not camp at American Legion State Forest while you're here at Nepaug Reservoir, and if you need a location to stay Avon Old Farms is a good choice. If you came for an overnight stay Austin Hawes Campground is a great location to camp, and Nepaug Reservoir is not far at all from Torrington. There is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Nepaug Reservoir called the Metacomet Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right?
