is not the only place nearby, Wilford Pond is a nearby lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Nash Pond; Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a glorious local trail. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant swamp in close
proximity to Nash Pond is Popple Swamp; there are plenty of people from Torrington here at Nash Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Nash Pond Dam is worth checking out while you're here, and Nash Pond is right by the Indian Trail.
Having a splendid time at Nash Pond is simple. Very beautiful scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Mohawk Mountain, and after a long day outdoors Sharon Motor Lodge is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Dry warm beds
await you at The Mayflower Inn & Spa. You could also stop at Stony Batter Pond since you're here at Nash Pond; it's close by, and from Nash Pond you get a magnificent vista of Bald Mountain. There's so much to do here at Nash
Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Housatonic Meadows State Park is a nice place for that, and why not a little side tour to Baldwin Brook.
