This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here at Lake Naraneka; camping at Kettletown State Park is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. Get your       heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Norwalk River, and do explore Mamanasco Lake, it's a lovely lake. Lake Naraneka is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain Workshop is a tremendous local campground; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Ridgefield Golf Course. You can take a little journey to Lake Naraneka Dam since you're here at Lake Naraneka, and Danbury Super 8 Motel is a great place to get some rest.                  Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve is a wonderful place to explore on a delightful day, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Thunder Ridge. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Lake Naraneka; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. You can run the rapids of East Aspetuck River close to Lake Naraneka, and a delightful lake like Taylors Pond is a good site to check out. Summertime at Lake Naraneka comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's.
