Nothing beats kicking back at Nauyaug Coast; Haley Farm State Park is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Mystic Reservoir, for example Silvias Pond, and great hiking is available along the Narragansett       Trail. For the period of the warm days of summer at Mystic Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mystic Reservoir. A large amount of rain falls at Mystic Reservoir; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is June. Here at Mystic Reservoir there are plenty                  of folks from Norwich-New London. There's so much to do here at Mystic Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Seaport Campground is a good place for that. At Mystic Reservoir you can see Quoketaug Hill, and do schedule some time to pop by Collins Cove if you have a chance. After a long day outdoors Residence Inn Mystic Groton is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Elmridge Golf Course. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Mystic Reservoir. Deans Reservoir Dam is charming and it's close to Mystic Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Deans Reservoir is in the neighborhood. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. This lake is so wonderful.
