Some nearby water includes Bush Meadow Brook. Lakes are good; Bigelow Pond is a lake that's close to Myers Pond. Myers Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation; during November this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds       await you at Days Inn Sturbridge; Bigelow Pond Dam has fine water scenery. There's whitewater on Natchaug River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very great place to explore. The warmest time of the year at Myers Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at                  Myers Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. The smiling people of Willimantic like to hang out nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Manna Campground is a pleasant spot to camp. Get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Quaboag River, and Coye Hill is trouble-free to spot from Myers Pond. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Myers Pond.
