     A quick trip to Heft Brook close to Murray Pond Number 2 is a wonderful idea, and do go to Murray Ponds, it's a picturesque lake. Murray Pond Number 2 is a reasonably wet place frequently with a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls through May, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Murray Pond Number 2 is a nice site to visit for more than one day, River Road Campground is a nice site to camp nearby; dry warm beds await  
   you at Madison Beach Hotel. Going to Chatfield Hollow State Park near Murray Pond Number 2 is a nice thing to do; A Victorian Village Inn is a great location to get some rest.
This place, Murray Pond Number 2, it clearly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Near Murray Pond Number 2 you stumble on a golf course called Hillside Links Golf Course, and there's good hiking along the Mattabesset Trail. High temperatures at Murray Pond Number 2 through the warmest
 
               time of the year are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows at Murray Pond Number 2 during the wintertime regularly dip into the 10's. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Murray Pond Number 2.
Riverdale Camp Sites is a tremendous local campground, and Powder Ridge is a very popular ski area close by. This lake is so wonderful. The West Woods Trail offers hiking at its best; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River. While you're here at Murray Pond Number 2, you could also check out lovely Killingworth Reservoir, and Hammonasset River is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Murray Pond Number 2; Washington Trail is a great local trail, and you can take a little visit to Killingworth Reservoir Dam if you're here at Murray Pond Number 2.

THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return.
