Mullens Pond is a lake worth visiting. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend East Aspetuck River. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Mountain Workshop is always a great experience, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Spectacle Swamp is right nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is great at Thunder Ridge, and a quick journey to Barretts Brook is definitely a tremendous idea. Pond highs are typically in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mullens Pond plunge into the 10's. Just can't
