What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Shepaug River, and if you're here, you could also stop by wonderful Goose
Pond. Mount Tom Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest of the months is February. The scenery at Shepaug Reservoir Dam near Mount Tom Pond is scenic. There's so much to do here
at Mount Tom Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cozy Hills Campground is a great site for that.
This lake is so wonderful. Litchfield Town Beach is a beach close to Mount Tom Pond that you can stop by, and a round of
