While you're here at Morse Reservoir you will meet lots of folks from close by Willimantic; a tour to Quinebaug       & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is recommended. Morse Meadow Pond is a great lake close to Morse Reservoir. A brilliant beach right next door to Morse Reservoir is Woodstock Town Beach; if you need a spot to stay Days Inn Sturbridge is a brilliant choice. Morse Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; during November this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes?                  Sure, Lost Pond is close by, and Bigelow Pond Dam is charming. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Quaboag River; dry warm beds await you at Travelodge Sturbridge. Camping is available at Beaver Pines Campground, and Allen Hill is clearly visible from Morse Reservoir.
