Throughout the summer months at Moritz Pond highs       are commonly in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Moritz Pond drop into the 10's. Yeah, come here to Moritz Pond for a good time. You don’t have to go far from Moritz Pond to see the water at Happy Acres Dam, and some perfect nature is available in Natchaug State Forest. On a nice day you can take a look at Fox Swamp, a swamp close to Moritz                  Pond; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Natchaug River. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Quaboag River. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Willington, and the panorama of Knowlton Hill is pretty. The high level of rain makes Moritz Pond a relatively wet spot; November is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
