Bald Hill Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to, and if you need a site to stay Hampton Inn Waterbury is a magnificent choice. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the area near Morehouse Pond has to offer. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Shepaug River, and Bald Hill is a peak you can make out from Morehouse Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Crowne Plaza Hotel SOUTHBURY, and camping

| | is available at Black Rock State Park. This lake is so wonderful. Pomperaug Golf Club is a fine golf course close by, also Lake Winnemaug Dam is worth stopping at if you're here. temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Morehouse Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Morehouse Pond truly is in the middle of a striking outdoors
paradise. Morehouse Pond is right by the Mattatuck Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Woodbury nearby. A wonderful swamp close to Morehouse Pond is Cedar Swamp, and the Naugatuck Trail offers hiking at its best. A tremendous
place to camp here at Morehouse Pond is Branchbrook Campground, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mount Southington. Don't leave Morehouse Pond without popping by Black Rock State Park. This lake
is so wonderful. People from Torrington love to come to Morehouse Pond; a lake nearby is Lake Winnemaug. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Morehouse Pond; Mattatuck Trail is a splendid local trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Bantam River offers some magnificent whitewater.
