Do stop by Moosup Pond Dam while you're here at Moosup Pond, and the vistas at Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Moosup Pond you can play some golf at Brooklyn Golf Course, and get yourself into       a kayak and hit Natchaug River. While you're here at Moosup Pond, you could also check out scenic Ross Pond, and drift down the rapids of Quinebaug River in a kayak. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Moosup Pond. Hopeville Pond State Park is a perfect place to go if you're at Moosup Pond, and splendid hiking is available along the Border Trail. Moosup Pond is a wet place that gets much rain; the month of November is the wettest with                  most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Moosup Pond all through the summertime are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Moosup Pond. What a place this is for outdoors people. There's delightful hiking along the Walkabout Trail, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PLAINFIELD is a wonderful location to get some rest. Squaw Rock is clearly visible from Moosup Pond, and Ekonk Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful.
