Monce Pond Dam has splendid water scenery and it's in close proximity to Monce Pond. There's so much to do here at Monce Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gentile's Camp Ground is a magnificent spot for that. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Monce Pond is excellent! Skiing at Ski Sundown is one of those things you just have to do, and Stratton Brook State Park is a splendid site to stretch your legs a bit. Monce Pond gets a lot of water;

| | August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. If the weather is perfect here at Monce Pond, you can go for a hike along the Tunxis Trail; Scott Swamp is a swamp in the neighborhood of Monce Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Lake Garda; unsurprisingly Negro Hill Brook is a stunning stream that is worth checking out. and Monce Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, American Legion State Forest is a delightful local campground. Dry warm beds await you at The Farmington Inn; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Farmington
River - Collinsville. There is a fine hiking trail near Monce Pond called the Mattatuck Trail, and if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Tunxis Plantation Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to run into
some nice people from New Haven-Milford here. The warmest time of the year at Monce Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. During the wintertime
this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Monce Pond dip into the 10's. There's whitewater on Farmington River - Riverton for all you adrenaline junkies; if you get bored of Monce
Pond you could also have a look at nearby Lake Garda. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of scenic Mine Mountain near Monce Pond is pleasant, and Farmington Memorial Town Forest is a great local forest. All the outdoors entertaining
stuff close to Monce Pond will keep you coming back many times. Clarion Hotel Bristol is a magnificent place to get some rest, and the Metacomet Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
