Here at Mohawk Pond you'll in all probability meet some folks from Torrington, and there are other spots here than Mohawk Pond, for example Clark Pond. Mohawk Mountain State Park is a lovely spot any time of year, and Bear Swamp is an out of the ordinary swamp close to Mohawk Pond. Housatonic Meadows State Park is a good campground nearby; if you come at the right time of year, Bantam River offers some wonderful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Mohawk Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. An afternoon playing golf at Stonybrook Golf Course is always a joy, and dry warm beds await you at Tollgate Hill Inn. Mohawk Pond is right by the Elbow Trail; lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Hart Pond. This lake is so wonderful. its best. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay The Mayflower Inn & Spa is a perfect choice, and Woodbury has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. Valley In The Pines Campground is a splendid local campground,
and Jennings Hill is trouble-free to spot from Mohawk Pond. Mohawk Pond is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. There's no such
thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mohawk Mountain, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. High temperatures at Mohawk Pond all through the warm months are in the 80's. For the period of
the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Mohawk Pond. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the
area close to Mohawk Pond has to offer. If you want to hit the beach, Litchfield Town Beach is nearby, and Mohawk State Forest is a delightful local forest.
