Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mix Pond; Quinnipiac Trail is a tremendous local trail, and a glorious close by hotel is Carriage House Studio Apts. Mix Pond mostly gets a great deal of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Stay the night at National Computer Camps; hey, Gotta ski right? Powder Ridge is a pleasant site to do that. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great world it would be. This lake is so wonderful. Shepard Brook is a great place to have a look at, and Turners Pond Dam is a wonderful place, certainly worth a visit. The warmest time of the
year brings highs in the 80's to Mix Pond. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures
at Mix Pond fall into the 10's. This is a splendid neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Web Shop Pond is a lake nearby, and enjoy a round of golf at Laurel View Country Club Golf.
Nearby lakes? Sure, Turners Pond is right next
door to Mix Pond; a tour to West Rock Ridge State Park is a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Mix Pond is a site with many visitors from New Haven-Milford, and everybody close by loves skiing at Mount Southington.
