at Litchfield Town Beach near Miscus Pond is always splendid; here at Miscus Pond you can catch a sight of Besse Hill. A lake close by is Hatchaloosie Reservoir; some of the water nearby flows, like Lovers Lane Brook. If you're

Quality Inn & Suites, and there's splendid hiking along the Tunxis Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Macedonia Brook State Park if you're here at Miscus Pond, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Shepaug
River. Don't leave Miscus Pond without first going for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail, and there's whitewater on Bantam River for all you adrenaline junkies.
