In Connecticut there are many beautiful lakes, Miscus Pond is one of them. A journey to Miscus Pond wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby John A. Minetto State Park; the scenery at Allen Dam is picturesque. The skiing at Mohawk Mountain is magnificent, and if you need a place to stay Tollgate Hill Inn is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful.

Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Miscus Pond tend to be in the 10's. Miscus Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is ordinarily the driest month. Time spent
at Litchfield Town Beach near Miscus Pond is always splendid; here at Miscus Pond you can catch a sight of Besse Hill. A lake close by is Hatchaloosie Reservoir; some of the water nearby flows, like Lovers Lane Brook.
If you're
here at Miscus Pond and you like golf, you can have a look at Stonybrook Golf Course, and there are plenty of folks from Torrington here. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Miscus Pond. A pleasant close by hotel is
Quality Inn & Suites, and there's splendid hiking along the Tunxis Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Macedonia Brook State Park if you're here at Miscus Pond, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Shepaug
River.
Don't leave Miscus Pond without first going for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail, and there's whitewater on Bantam River for all you adrenaline junkies.
