If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mirror Lake. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Regent Inn is a fine choice; Ball Hill is a peak you can see from Mirror Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River. For the period of the long summer days, highs frequently       are in the 80's at Mirror Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mirror Lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Fishers Brook is a stream you can go to during your stay; camping at Moosemeadow Camping Resort is always a brilliant experience. This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a picturesque lake called Swan Lake                  near Mirror Lake, and when you're here it's always fun to pop by Mansfield Hollow State Park. Do go to Tift Pond close to Mirror Lake, it's a wonderful lake, and a brilliant location to camp here at Mirror Lake is Wilderness Lake. This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Mirror Lake you'll meet some people from Willimantic for sure. Swamps don’t sound that wonderful but Cedar Swamp right next door to Mirror Lake is reasonably wonderful; if you come at the right time of year, Natchaug River offers some perfect whitewater.
