There's so much to do here at Mirror Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Moosemeadow Camping Resort is a magnificent site for that, and a great nearby hotel is Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center. Be careful coming to Mirror Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Mansfield Hollow State Park is a great place to go if you're at Mirror Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River. of course, usually in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mirror Lake. Take a little journey to Fishers Brook since you're here at Mirror Lake.
Glide
down the rapids of Natchaug River in a kayak, and Best Western Regent Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest. The high level of precipitation makes Mirror Lake a quite wet place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
