A visit to Miner Pond is always a good idea. You're probably addicted to lakes, Adder Reservoir is one of those close by. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Miner Pond; Washington Trail is a great local trail, and if you came to camp Little City Campground is a good place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. The Mattabesset Trail offers hiking at its best, and pretty scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Mount Southington. You get a good panorama

Super 8 Motel - Cromwell/Middletown is a wonderful site to get some rest, and Wadsworth Falls State Park is a good place to stretch your legs a bit.
