Milton Pond is a nice lake to visit. This place, Milton Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors fun stuff. While you're here at Milton Pond you can play some golf at Stonybrook Golf Course, and you can distinguish Mount Prospect from Milton Pond. There's so much to do here at Milton Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Valley In The Pines Campground is a tremendous location for that; hiking is a popular thing to do around Milton Pond; Mattatuck Trail is

| | a brilliant local trail. This lake is so wonderful. On a brilliant day it's a perfect idea to spend the day at Litchfield Town Beach; Milton Pond is not the only place close by, Lake Floren is a close by lake. Yeah, come here to Milton Pond for a fine time. After a long day outdoors Tollgate Hill Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and lots of folks from Torrington come here. Pond is no exception; you don’t have to go far from Milton Pond to spot the water at Goose Pond Dam. Milton Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Hemlock Hill Camp Resort and Co-operative is a magnificent local campground,
and there's whitewater on Bantam River for all you adrenaline junkies. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Milton Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun
is down during the winter temperatures at Milton Pond sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Mohawk Mountain is a glorious place to do that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Appalachian National Scenic
Trail. Get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Shepaug River, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn - Torrington. All the water falling down from the sky makes Milton Pond a wet site; through the month of August
you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Milton Pond wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Mt. Tom State Park. If you get bored of Milton Pond,
you could also go to nearby Goose Pond, and pretty scenery and magnificent skiing is what you obtain at Woodbury. Why not visit nearby Marshepaug River since you're here at Milton Pond, and Morris Town Beach is relatively nearby if you're in a beach type of mood.
