Trail is a great local trail. You could also stop at Bell Reservoir since you're here at Mill Woods Pond; it's nearby, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Roaring Brook River. A visit to Mill Woods Pond wouldn’t
be complete without a visit to nearby Dinosaur State Park, and swing by Beaver Brook it's a tremendous place to have a look at. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Rocky Hill Hartford South, and the Metacomet Trail offers hiking at
its best. Camp Eagle Feather is a fine local campground, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Southington. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are truly plentiful here at Mill Woods Pond.
Indian Reef is close to Mill Woods Pond and is a splendid site, and Mill Woods Pond is right by the Washington Trail. So much enjoyable stuff close to Mill Woods Pond, clearly tremendous. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody
but if it's for you then we recommend Farmington River, and a golf course nearby is Goodwin Golf Course. Wethersfield Cove is near Mill Woods Pond and is a wonderful spot to stop at; Mill Woods Pond is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Nelson's Family Campground is a fine site to camp nearby.
