There's so much to do here at Mill Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Waramaug State Park is a good location for that; pretty scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Thunder Ridge. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Mill Pond. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Mill Pond while overnight       lows are regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Mill Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mill Pond has to offer, you can camp at Buck's Rock Camp, and dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn & Suites New Milford. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Mill Pond to catch a glimpse of the water at Cedar Hill Pond Dam, and you'll                  never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mohawk Mountain if you're here. Macedonia Brook State Park is a wonderful location to go if you're at Mill Pond; you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Mill Pond. A stunning lake like Mud Pond next to Mill Pond is a glorious location to go to, and some nearby water includes Bull Mountain Brook. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Tenmile; The Cottages At Kent Road is a great place to get some rest. Mill Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
