If you come at the right time of year, Norwalk River offers some great whitewater; Mill Pond is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Sail Caribbean is a nice location to camp nearby. Beaches are fine; and Weed Beach in the vicinity of Mill Pond is no exception, and dry warm beds await you at Roger Sherman Inn (Le). This lake is so wonderful. | | Oak Hills Golf Course. Not far from Mill Pond, you'll locate Nichols Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and on a delightful day you get a tremendous view of Canoe Hill from Mill Pond. Parting Brook is near Mill Pond and is always a pleasure to explore; if you need a site to stay Doubletree Hotel Norwalk is a delightful choice. Pond is pretty good. Be careful coming to Mill Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. Lakes? Sure, Silvermine Pond is close by; there are plenty of folks from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk here at Mill Pond. Mill Pond
gets much water; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Mill Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to
the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Mill Pond all through the wintertime commonly sink into the 20's. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mill Pond.
What would winter be without some skiing at Thunder Ridge. This lake is so wonderful. Mountain Workshop is a good local campground, and delightful water scenery is available at Millard Pond Dam close to Mill Pond.
