Connecticut has many beautiful lakes and Mill Pond is one of them. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve is a tremendous place, and if you need a place to stay Doubletree Hotel Norwalk is a brilliant choice. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable things to do near Mill Pond. Very striking scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Thunder Ridge. | | to Weed Beach is always a fine idea. Take a look at nearby Carter Swamp, and the scenery at Millard Pond Dam is scenic. Playing golf is lots of fun at Oak Hills Golf Course; Mill Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain Workshop is a perfect local campground. so wonderful. On a pretty day you can have a look at Rowayton Community Beach right next door to Mill Pond, and Old South Norwalk Reservoir is a good lake close by. Through the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Mill Pond.
Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Mill Pond. Some nearby water includes Parting Brook, and a nice panorama of picturesque Canoe
Hill is available. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Mill Pond is Sail Caribbean; there are some great whitewater spots on Norwalk River. Mill Pond gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February.
