This lake is so wonderful. It's a glorious idea to stop at Drake Pond Brook, it's next to Migeon Pond; the cheerful people of Torrington like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a nice choice, and Ski Sundown is a splendid local ski area. For the period of the warm days of summer       highs here at Migeon Pond get into the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Migeon Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. So many amusing things to do here at Migeon Pond, too wonderful to be true. If you came for an overnight stay Macedonia Brook State Park is a perfect spot to camp; Bantam River is a splendid whitewater spot close by. Yeah, come here                  to Migeon Pond for a perfect time. Camping is available at Burr Pond State Park; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River. Go for a hike on the Mattatuck Trail; when you're here it's always fun to take a look at John A. Minetto State Park. Migeon Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through June, and February is the month with the least moisture. Don't leave Migeon Pond without first going for a hike along the Tunxis Trail. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Whist Pond Dam; the view of gorgeous Brandy Hill is wonderful. There are good places to explore along the Mattatuck Trail, and Stonybrook Golf Course is a wonderful golf course close by.
