Why not check out close by Bark Meadow Brook since you're here at Medbury Pond, and The Inn at Woodstock Hill is a brilliant location to get some rest. Any time is a fine time at Medbury Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Do stop at Cargill Falls Dam while you're here at Medbury Pond, and don't leave Medbury Pond without first going for a hike along the Munyan Trail. Do stop at Bruce Ponds in close proximity to Medbury Pond, it's a picturesque lake,

| | and Mashamoquet Brook State Park is a pleasant place to stretch your legs a bit. A good deal of rain falls at Medbury Pond; November is when you get the most rain here while February is generally the driest month. During the long summer days here at Medbury Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and the night is fairly colder of course, mostly in the 50's. wintertime temperatures at Medbury Pond sink into the 10's. If you came to camp Mashamuquet Brook Campground is a nice site to do that, and a fine location for whitewater paddling is Quinebaug River. The sight of Bartholomew Hill
from Medbury Pond is delightful, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites Dayville. This lake is so wonderful. The fine folks of Willimantic like to hang out nearby, and Natchaug River is a good whitewater spot nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Border Trail, and a tour to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Medbury Pond. You'll stumble
on a lovely lake called Carpenter Pond near Medbury Pond, and Medbury Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, West Thompson Campground is a nice local campground. Good hiking is available along the Walkabout Trail, and since you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Harrisville Golf Course.
