Medbury Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. There's good hiking along the Munyan Trail, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Kings Inn. Summertime highs at Medbury Pond typically tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Medbury Pond are in the 10's. There's always Cargill Falls Dam to go to near Medbury

| | Pond, and there's some flowing water close by, Bark Meadow Brook is a stream you can visit while here. This lake is so wonderful. A beautiful lake like Bruce Ponds near Medbury Pond is a great spot to pop by, and Medbury Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Mashamuquet Brook Campground is a splendid local campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Quinebaug River, and don't leave Medbury Pond | |

without first going for a hike along the Border Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is recommended; camping at West Thompson Campground is always a pleasant experience.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Bartholomew Hill is delightful and can be spotted from Medbury Pond; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Harrisville Golf Course. Hiking is a popular thing
to do around Medbury Pond; Walkabout Trail is a nice local trail, and after a long day outdoors The Kings Inn is a great location to spend a night or two. A brilliant spot like Mashamoquet Brook State Park next to Medbury Pond is
too nice to leave out; you'll perhaps meet some people from Willimantic here. Man, is there heaps of cool things to do next to Medbury Pond. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Natchaug River. All the water falling
down from the sky makes Medbury Pond a wet spot; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
