If you are in Windham county it's always a good idea to stop by Medbury Pond. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Medbury Pond. Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a perfect national park; you unquestionably have to explore Mashamoquet Brook State Park if you're here. High temperatures at Medbury Pond throughout the summer months are in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For
the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Medbury Pond sink into the 10's. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Natchaug River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Walkabout Trail.
Medbury Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Mashamuquet Brook Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and Carpenter Pond is a good lake close by. There's

brilliant hiking along the Border Trail, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Bark Meadow Brook flows through this region, and Harrisville Golf Course is a golf course close by.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Willimantic here, and not far from Medbury Pond you get some brilliant water scenery at Cargill Falls Dam. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Quinebaug River, and the Munyan Trail offers hiking at its best. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Medbury Pond. The Inn at Woodstock Hill is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and at Medbury Pond you can catch a sight of Bartholomew Hill.
Stay the night at West Thompson Campground; a striking lake like Bruce Ponds is a pleasant location to go to. Medbury Pond is a wet place that gets much rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest.
