Why not camp at Camp Echo Lake since you're here at Lake Mead, and one of the best things about this site is its proximity to Harbor Point Beach. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Round Hill can be seen from Lake Mead; if you're a golfer then a nice nearby course is Golf Club of Purchase. Be careful coming to Lake Mead, you might not ever want to go home again. A great place to       camp here at Lake Mead is Soundview Sports, and you're probably into lakes, Converse Lake is one of those close by. It's a magnificent idea to take a look at Wampus River, it's near Lake Mead. Summertime highs at Lake Mead mostly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Lake Mead tend to be in the 10's. The high level of precipitation makes                  Lake Mead a quite wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and January on the other hand is the driest. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at F W Perry Pond Dam close to Lake Mead; people from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown love to come here. Lakes are pleasant; Cobamong Pond is a lake that's near Lake Mead; Doral Arrowwood Conference Resort is a fine place to get some rest. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Norwalk River, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
