You're probably keen on lakes, Wetherbee Pond is one of those close by, and a tour here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to close by Mansfield Hollow State Park. Summer at Lymans Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 60's. Grounds is a great location to camp nearby. If you need a site to stay Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a great choice. Lakes are fine; Potash Pond is a lake that's near Lymans Pond. Paddling on Natchaug River is so much fun;
at Lymans Pond you always meet someone from Norwich-New London. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Regent Inn, and the peak of Miller Hill can be seen from Lymans Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Potash Pond Dam is worth visiting while you're here, and Highland Camp Ground is a magnificent campground nearby.
