Everybody loves Quaddick State Park, and a great close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn Brooklyn. Swamps like Thompson Meadows are fun to have a look at. There's so much to do here at Lower Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Bowdish Lake Camping Area is a fine location for that. All the water falling down       from the sky makes Lower Pond a wet site; most of the rain falls all through November, and February is the month with the least moisture. Quaddick Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn & Suites Dayville is a pleasant choice. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area close to Lower Pond has to offer. There's whitewater on Clear and Branch for all you thrill seekers. You'll need                  more than a day to look at everything Lower Pond has to offer, you can camp at Buck Hill Family Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Lower Pond, you could also visit close by Mary Brown Pond, and going for a hike along the Border Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. High temperatures at Lower Pond through the warm months are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lower Pond. If the weather is brilliant here at Lower Pond, you can go for a hike along the Munyan Trail, and Elmwood Hill is clearly visible from Lower Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at Quaddick Reservoir Dam if you're here, and why not take a little trip to Blackmore Brook if you're here. And that's not all you can do here at Lower Pond.
