The Lower Lagoon is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. High temperatures at The Lower Lagoon through the summer are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at The Lower Lagoon temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of Fort Hill from The Lower Lagoon is striking, and if you need a spot to stay Marriott Mystic Hotel And Spa is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. Haley Farm State Park is both pleasant and pretty,
and it's in close proximity to The Lower Lagoon; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Narragansett Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes The Lower Lagoon a wet place; November is the wettest month with most
rain, and the driest month of the year is June.
Some nearby water includes Eccleston Brook, and a fine beach nearby is Groton Long Point South Beach.
