Fort Hill is lovely and can be seen from Lower Lagoon; Lower Lagoon is a spot with many visitors from Norwich-New London. The Upper Lagoon is a lake in close proximity, and Horseshoe Reef is without doubt a splendid place to stop at. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Lower Lagoon is so good! Stay the night at Seaport Campground, and a day at beautiful Groton Long Point Main Beach close to Lower Lagoon is a good thing to do. All through the summer months at Lower Lagoon highs are regularly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.
