     A lake close by is Morse Meadow Pond, and people from Willimantic love to come here. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Natchaug River, and a journey to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile. Camping at Beaver Pines Campground is always a delightful experience, and Lost Pond is not the only place nearby, Harmon Pond is a nearby lake. Enjoy a round of golf at Royal Oaks Country Club not far from Lost Pond; there's  
   whitewater on Quaboag River for all you thrill seekers.
This lake is so wonderful. Bigelow Hollow State Park is a perfect place to go if you're at Lost Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn Sturbridge is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Nothing beats kicking back at Woodstock Town Beach; Bigelow Pond Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. Just can't get enough of Lost Pond.
Getting to Bush Meadow Brook from Lost Pond is trouble-free;
 
               the peak of Allen Hill can be seen from Lost Pond. Through the summertime at Lost Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows at Lost Pond during the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 10's. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Lost Pond. A pleasant location to camp here at Lost Pond is Black Pond Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Travelodge Sturbridge.
Lost Pond is a wet site that gets much precipitation; through November this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
