Wren Knolls is trouble-free to spot from Lockwood Pond. Lakes are great; Collins Pond is a lake that's near Lockwood Pond. At Lockwood Pond through the warm days of       summer highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Lockwood Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Laurel Reservoir Dam is worth visiting since you're here; Thunder Ridge is a perfect local ski area. Lots of precipitation falls at Lockwood Pond; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the                  month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A journey to Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve when you're here at Lockwood Pond is a wonderful idea, and after a long day outdoors Roger Sherman Inn (Le) is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great earth it would be. If you're here at Lockwood Pond and you like golf, you can pop by Pound Ridge Golf Club, and if you need a place to stay Stamford Plaza Hotel and CC is a fine choice.
